Mr. Tilde holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers(CIS) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). He is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).<\/p>\n
Mr. Tilde is currently a Director in the Office of Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC). Prior to this role, Mr. Tilde was the Acting Executive Commissioner (Operations) of SEC and has worked in various Departments of the Commission such as Securities &Investment Services, Monitoring & Investigation, Internal Control, Investment Management, Finance & Accounts and Registration & Exchanges. He has over 30 years working experience in capital market regulation and development.<\/p>\n
In the course of his career in the Commission, he has recorded several achievements, notably of which was leading a team that implemented some key recommendations of the Capital Market Master Plan (2015 -2025), such as: Recapitalization, Direct Cash Settlement, Dematerialization, Complaint Management Framework and Risk Based Supervision for Capital Market Operators.<\/p>\n
Mr Tilde has represented the Commission on the Technical Committees of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the West African Regulators Association (WASRA) and the Financial Services Regulation Coordinating Committee (FSRCC). \u00a0<\/p>\n
Mr. Tilde has attended many foreign and local courses on capital markets, leadership, investigation, examination, financial analysis and corporate governance – to mention but a few. \u00a0<\/p>\n
